No need to have a jarana, yet. We will share what we have until you can decide which one is best for you. Just bring your voice if you like to sing and some shoes to dance in if you like to stomp to the rythm of the son.
A wonderful way to share culture with your family.directions
Son Jarocho is amongst Mexico’s oldest surviving musical traditions and has its roots in three cultures—African, Spanish and indigenous—in the jungles of southern Veracruz. Instruments traditionally used in this music include requintos, jaranas, tarimas and percussion and these are enriched by the addition of other unique instruments.
